IMPORTANT Note about Background Checks:
Oklahoma requires a national background check with fingerprint for all new licensee applications - salesperson and broker. The average background check takes 60 days or longer, so it is recommended that students start the process in advance.
Real Estate Sales Associate License Requirements:
The Sales Associate licensing level is the the entry level real estate estate license in Oklahoma, and is appropriate for those entering the field for the first time. In order to become a OK real estate Salesperson, you must first complete a required course of study and then pass a state administered licensing exam.

Real Estate Broker's License Requirements:
A broker license allows a person to do business as a firm and sponsor licensed associates. Upon passing the state examination, a broker has the option of applying for a license as a broker associate, proprietor broker, branch office broker, managing broker for a corporation or association, or as a broker partner of a partnership.
